Due to the Conformance Date requirement, I have placed Dec. 15, 2016 as a "tentative" date as the Pearson representative, Suzanne Greenlee, was not able to provide that at this time. Below contains information sent to me via email on Dec. 1, 2016 from Suzanne Greenlee....... Accessibility compliance has been, and will remain, a priority for IT as it has for all Pearson products. We anticipate making significant strides towards WCAG2 compliance for back to school August 2017. These efforts fall into three categories: 1) user interface improvements; 2) additional QA + remediation on instructional resources like videos and presentations; 3) improved labelling of assessment objects to assist with instructor content selection. We are not in a position to make any specific date commitments at this time for complete WCAG2 compliance. Doing so would be both disingenuous and factually incorrect. Our customers value transparency and we intend to act accordingly. If this customer has additional questions, we will be happy to discuss any details verbally.

Due to the "required date field" for a Conformance Date, I have estimated it to be December 15, 2018 as Pearson did not truly specify a timeframe. Per email conversation with Pearson representative on December 1, 2016, this is the latest data that I received ----- email below is from Suzanne Greenlee; Dec. 1, 2016 --- Accessibility compliance has been, and will remain, a priority for IT as it has for all Pearson products. We anticipate making significant strides towards WCAG2 compliance for back to school August 2017.
